When TV advertising makes sense: Mt. Baker Pain Clinic

Some clients’ stories (not all) make more sense to be told on TV than through any other medium. Mt. Baker Pain Clinic is one such client.

We recently wrapped up and launched a TV ad campaign for MBPC. The videos we delivered for the clinic feature two men who’ve lived with ongoing pain for some time now, the kind of pain that makes life pretty intolerable, and how the clinic was able to help them get back to enjoying life. It tells of the affects their pain had on not only their own lives, but the lives of their friends and family members; how they had tried treatment before to no avail and that they didn’t think MBPC was going to be able to do anything for them; and, finally, how the treatment they received literally changed they way they lived their lives.

MBPC Patient Videos

It’s a story that couldn’t be told as vividly or as effectively through a static print ad, or even a radio ad for that matter. The emotions of these two men was something that only video could capture, and it’s what made the campaign resonate with so many in the community.

You can watch the full-length clip here, which was edited down into two different 60-second TV spots.
